Industrial mobile router Advantech ICR-2431 is designed for wireless communication in mobile networks that use traditional technology. The primary purpose of this router is its use in the 4G LTE (Cat.4) network. The maximum downlink speed is approx. 150 Mbit/s and up 50 Mbit/s.
The router is equipped with two independently configurable Ethernet ports (LAN or WAN), 1 × serial port RS232, 1 × RS485 and with digital I/ O connection (1 × DI, 1 × DO).
The router supports VPN tunnels with different protocols to ensure secure communication. The router provides diagnostic functions such as automatic monitoring of the wireless and wired connections, automatic restart in case of disconnection and a hardware watchdog that monitors the status of the router.
Advantech ICR-2431 is based on open Linux platform with great possibilities to program SW applications in Python, C/C++.
Advantech's existing app library (user modules) includes apps already developed to enhance specific router functionality including industrial protocol conversion and support for IoT platforms such as MS Azure, Cumulocity, ThingWorx and more.
The router is based on Conel's proven V2i platform, which is based on previous models such as the Conel LR77 and others. The ICR-2431 has an ARM926EJ-S processor at 600 MHz, 128 MB RAM and 64 MB FLASH memory. The router has 12 MB dedicated SW modules and 2 MB for data storage.
ICR-2400 is easy to install using WebAccess/DMP which is a complete configuration and monitoring tool for mass deployment. The router also supports additional monitoring in R-SeeNet.
