Advantech EKI-5729P is a managed Gigabit PoE+ Switch with eight 802.3 compatible Gigabit Ethernet ports. The switch delivers up to 60 Watts at 24 volts.
It is also the world's first convergence switch for process control and IT network management. This series uses Modbus/TCP to communicate simultaneously with the SCADA software and SNMP to communicate with the NMS (Networking Management System), enabling full availability across the devices for control engineers or for IT.
The devices come with port-based QoS for deterministic data transfer, making it possible to prioritize the traffic coming over these ports and delay the less critical.
The switch uses the highest quality components to enable operation at temperatures between -25 and 60°C together with EMS Level 3 protection to reject electromagnetic interference. The switches are certified with E-marking for vehicle and surveillance systems.
