With the Aeotec Smart Boost Timer Switch you can integrate your hot water boiler into the Z-Wave network. Optimise the time when you need the warm water individually or by means of the preset time periods of 30, 60, 90 or 120 minutes. 

The control is done manually at the Aeotec Smart Boost Timer Switch itself or in the Z-Wave system via App. The timer can switch loads up to 16A and has overvoltage protection and a repeater function.

What is Z-Wave S2?

Z-Wave S2 is the latest generation of Z-Wave developed to reduce power consumption, faster commands between devices and increase security on the network.

S2 improves Z-Wave Plus and Gen5 devices with an extra layer of AES 128-bit encryption of wireless signals combined with security class UL 1023.

The first two layers of security are joined by a third - Always-on ECDH key exchange, which makes man-in-the-middle or brute force hacking almost impossible.
