Install new devices in seconds. Z-Stick 7 offers SmartStart natively, allowing for new Z-Wave devices to be connected to your system simply by scanning their QR code through a SmartStart-enabled app.

Z-Wave Plus™ is a certification developed to help users identify products that use the "new generation" also known as the "500 series" of Z-Wave hardware. Z-Wave Plus™ offers a bunch of extra functions and possibilities that improve your use and make the installation of Z-Wave devices easier.

What is Z-Wave S2?

Z-Wave S2 is the latest generation of Z-Wave developed to reduce power consumption, faster commands between devices and increase security on the network.

Advanced encryption

S2 improves Z-Wave Plus and Gen5 devices with an extra layer of AES 128-bit encryption of wireless signals combined with security class UL 1023.

Increased security

The first two layers of security are joined by a third - Always-on ECDH key exchange, which makes man-in-the-middle or brute force hacking almost impossible.

Better battery life

ECDH and AES 128-bit reduce Z-Wave Plus wireless data transmission, security communication now uses 66% less battery.

Faster commands

Your smart home becomes seamless. S2 devices improve Z-Wave wireless performance speed by more than 50%, reducing latency down to milliseconds.
