APP sensor, Accelerator Pedal Position sensor - accelerator pedal control
Mostly fits all cars with electronic gas pedal except Volvo. For Volvo, see 03-170-VOLVO click here.
Intended to be used with Speed controller H-version to control throttle.
How does it work?
Most cars have 2 variable signals from the gas pedal, some have 3. Regardless so our throttle control fits most cars by acting as an "extra" throttle that engages and provides a constant idle signal to the engine control when the H-regulator signals breaking. This causes the throttle to cut off and go to idle when the set speed limit in the H-regulator is reached. For smooth running, see our H-CAN (compatible cars only )
How do I install?
Measure all cables of the accelerator pedal at idle and at full throttle, note the values and cable color/position. In most cases, full ignition is sufficient, the engine does not normally need to be on, but the accelerator pedal's connector must be in the accelerator pedal. If you can't get to measure directly in the connector, try poking through the cable insulation to get a measurement value. It can be good to fix the negative of the multimeter in pin 5 (ground) of the OBD connector while you are measuring.
When you have finished measuring, you can clearly see which cables have changed values. These are completely cut off and fed in via the accelerator pedal control. In1/2 on accelerator pedal control is always from pedal. Ut1/2 is always on to the car. It is important that In1/Ut1 and In2/Ut2 are connected so that they are not switched.

NOTE! See the accessories tab for car-specific wiring and multi-joint flexible cable for easier installation. In cases where we have a ready-made wiring harness for your car, nothing needs to be cut.
NOTE! Loh Electronics supports and only supports connection to H-regulator. Not other systems or regulators.
Some Chevrolet models, for example all Trailblazers and some Colorados, require a different connection. Contact us before purchase.
