Fits Volvo from -98 and up. The car must be equipped with an electronic accelerator pedal, so no wire!
Intended to be used in conjunction with Speed regulator H-version to control throttle. Please note that our H -CAN now works with all Volvos from -00 and up.
How does it work? Most cars have 2 variable signals from the gas pedal . The accelerator pedal control acts as an "extra" accelerator pedal that engages and provides a constant idle signal to the engine control when the H governor signals break. This causes the throttle to cut off and go to idle when the set speed limit in the H-regulator is reached. For smooth running, see our H-CAN (only Volvo over -00)
How do I install?
The installation in Volvo can be advanced and should only be done by you who are good at vehicle and experience in measuring and troubleshooting.
Pos 5 in the pedal's connector must be clipped o into In1, on to the car on Ut1 Pos 2 in the pedal's connector must be clipped o into In3, on to the car on Ut3 Pos 4 in the pedal's connector should not be cut, but you should take the ground from there with e.g. current thief to 0V on the app sensor
12v should be on constant battery plus, or from pos 1 in the accelerator pedal connector ( recommended) It is extremely important that there is constant current there so it does not "dip" when you pull the starter motor.
In2 and Out2 are not used, connect nothing to them.
NOTE! See the accessories tab for car-specific wiring and multi-joint flexible cable for easier installation. In cases where we have a ready-made cable for your car, nothing needs to be cut.
NOTE! Loh Electronics supports and only supports connection to H-regulator. Not other systems or regulators.
